چکیده

In the presence of a periodic external drive, mean value energy two-level quantum system (or qubit) displays well-known Rabi oscillatory dynamics that is usually described within rotating wave approximation. order to calculate its standard deviation, we get rid this latter and obtain huge ratio (of unity) deviation over value. This due large-amplitude high-frequency oscillations internal as well overall phase system. continuous measurement of, say, ground state yields Zeno effect, remains frozen in long driven allows stay deviation. When reaching boundary, suddenly flips excited level further We model flip by use parametrized transitions show it can be defined result action quantization. check our theory recovering so-called “quantum jumps” published Minev et al. (2019).

On bit-commitment based quantum coin flipping

In this paper, we focus on a special framework for quantum coin flipping protocols, bit-commitment based protocols, within which almost all known protocols fit. We show a lower bound of 1/16 for the bias in any such protocol. We also analyse a sequence of multi-round protocol that tries to overcome the drawbacks of the previously proposed protocols, in order to lower the bias. We show an intric...

Abrupt Rabi oscillations in a superoscillating electric field.

We study counterintuitive dynamics of a two-level system (TLS) interacting with electric field superoscillating in time. We show that a TLS may be excited by an external light pulse whose spectral components are below the absorption line of the TLS. We attribute this unique dynamics to the Rabi oscillations of the TLS in a superoscillating driving field.

Decoherence and Relaxation of a Quantum Bit in the Presence of Rabi Oscillations

Dissipative dynamics of a quantum bit driven by a strong resonant field and interacting with a heat bath is investigated. We derive generalized Bloch equations and find modifications of the qubit’s damping rates caused by Rabi oscillations. Nonequilibrium decoherence of a phase qubit inductively coupled to a LC-circuit is considered as an illustration of the general results. Typeset using REVTEX

Here, we report a theoretical detailed study of Vacuum Rabi Splitting (VRS) in the system of Nitride Single Quantum Well (SQW) within a semiconductor microcavity. Distributed Bragg Reflectors (DBRs) containing ZnTe/ZnSe multilayers including GaAs microcavity and  ( SQW at the center of microcavity, has been considered. Upper and lower exciton-polariton branches obtaine...

Proposed Rabi-Kondo correlated state in a laser-driven semiconductor quantum dot.

Spin exchange between a single-electron charged quantum dot and itinerant electrons leads to an emergence of Kondo correlations. When the quantum dot is driven resonantly by weak laser light, the resulting emission spectrum allows for a direct probe of these correlations. In the opposite limit of vanishing exchange interaction and strong laser drive, the quantum dot exhibits coherent oscillatio...
